Spring Time Card

This week the challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge is to create a spring time project.

I was inspired by nature itself, the trees, the flowers blooming and the monarch butterflies flying outside.

Tree was cut from the Sweethearts Cartridge at 3 1/2 inches
Grass was cut from Martha Stewart's Grass Punch at 6 1/2 inches long
Monarch Butterflies are also from a Martha Stewart Punch
White Picket Fence is cut from a Martha Stewart Punch
Clouds were cut at 11/2 inches from Create-a-Critter Cartridge
Flowers are from Making Memories Mini Blossom set (layered and set with brads)

Thanks for dropping by!

Onesie Baby Shower Card

I was inspired by pictures I saw of baby shower decorations, onesises hanging on a rope.
The card is a standard A2 size .
The green grass is cut from Texture DCWV paper stack in light green, and I used the Martha Stewart Grass punch.
The Onesies (New Arrival Cartridge) are cut at 1 1/2 inches using patterened paper.
(I applied a small rhinestone to the middle onesie for dimension)
The Hangers (New Arrival Cartridge) were cut out of chipboard at 1 3/4.
The sun (Create a critter cartridge) was cut at 1 1/2 inches using textured paper from DCWV paper stack.
The clouds (Hello Kitty Greetings) were cut at 1 1/4 inches.
The wire is from a Making Memories, I attached it to the back with double sided tape.
I hope you enjoy and are inspired!

Jungle Canvas

I recently purchased a two pack of 8 1/2 x 11 inches white canvas from Michaels, it was originally priced @ $5.00 but with my 50% off coupon it was only $2.50 for two canvases! That's pretty darn cheap.

I cut my pieces from DCWV (Die Cuts With a View) textured paper pack (found at Michaels, Joanns, and sometimes Ross or Marshalls) using my cricut machine and my trusty qypsy.

Cartridge I used: Create a Critter

1) Palm Trees from (cut at 3 inches and 4 inches, flipping the image to get opposite sides).

2) Monkey was cut at 2 1/2 inches, layered (black, beige, & dark brown).

3) Sun was cut at 3 inches

4) Giraffe was cut at 4 1/2 inches layered (brown, orange, and yellow).

5) Green grass was cut using the Martha Stewart Grass Border Punch.

* I applied foam adhesive to each piece to add dimension
